About me

Samantha Jon is an upmarket fiction author whose work blends gothic romance, mystery, and evocative emotional depth. Her most notable novel, The Truths We Make, debuted in November 2024 as the first installment in the House of Poe Duology. The book, with its 4.7-star rating, has been praised as “heartbreaking,” “visceral,” and “as if Poe had written it himself.” Samantha’s highly anticipated sequel, The Lies We Keep, will release in 2025, taking the series' gothic longing and lyrical prose to the rugged landscapes of the West.

A poet since the age of seven, Samantha’s early works have been featured in contests and anthologies. She wrote her first novel at 25 and has been writing passionately ever since. As a Writing with the Soul alumna, Emerald City Romance Writers member, and founder of an indie author networking group, Samantha is committed to fostering community among writers. Her first love is poetry and the classics, and she strives to make these timeless art forms accessible and engaging to modern readers.
